Our moderators will be flitting about in all of the channels leaving comments on the articles and creating conversation amongst anyone else who leaves comments.  Their role is to uphold our themes – Keep it Simple, Be Yourself and Think for Yourself.

Meet Ms Fit

My Name is Ms Fit.

I am a 38 year old woman, who was born in an African country and my parents migrated to Australia when I was an infant. I was raised in Sydney and like most women of my age in this situation, I was left culturally aware and if not a little confused. I am so used to being two different people at once, it has left me a little intolerant of those who can’t do the same.

Sydney is my home and heart in this big wide world, I’m a city girl finding her space in the universe. I am a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a wife, a lover and sometimes my worst and harshest critic. I’m a pragmatist and mostly very politically incorrect. I’m not out to offend anyone, rather I want to shake things up a little.

I want the women of the world to think outside of their conditioned environement. I don’t want to judge either, that’s not what I’m about. My views and opinions at times will seem to have a split point of view and contradict each other. But what is so wrong with that? Why can’t we think two things at once? The one thing I know is that I won’t always “fit” in, sometimes not even with myself and my own expectations and preconceived ideas and values, let alone with those of everyone else.

Most importantly, I want women to share their opinions and to think out loud. The getting of wisdom, my wisdom, has come from the women in my life and their experiences, and through my comentary I hope to bring some of that wisdom into your lives.
